About us
Michael Quinn is the owner and founder of Q's Handyman Services LLC. Mike grew up studying residential architectural design. His fascination for construction started at a young age building Lego mansion's and watching Bob Vilas, Home-Again, Home-Time and This Old House. It wasn't until high school, when he found his real love for building when he constructed a 1/4 size scale of a model home from wood for his final grade.
Since then, He has mastered several trades and changed his course of study to building trades and construction management. Mike attended Michigan State University and has also obtained his State of Michigan Builders License at the age of 18. Mike moved on to working various construction jobs from building new homes, Renovating older homes, Demolition and Additions. General Home Repairs, Roofing, Concrete, Landscape Construction & Design, Window & Door Installation and Much more.
Mike moved to South Florida in 2008 on a business transfer working for a National Catastrophe Service company that specialized in residential and commercial property damage. Mike extended his knowledge and experience by becoming a certified Water/mold damage technician. He later became Mitigation manager for a top leading restoration company throughout the state of Florida. He managed, Responded, trained new hires, and traveled across country when a catastrophe struck.
At the time Mike was handling a busy workload, he volunteered for the tv show EXTREME MAKEOVER HOME EDITION where they would build new homes for less fortunate families.
Mike finally retired from the industry and decided to go solo and open Q's Handyman Services LLC.
